Our investment philosophy is grounded in the principle of “lifecycle of investing”, which is a probabilistic worldview and focuses on change. It is grounded in microeconomics and the conviction that behavior can be predicted. The strategy seeks to identify investment opportunities from a global universe of public traded equities that can generate idiosyncratic excess returns. We seek excess returns through mostly long and occasionally short positions of companies in the various stages of the lifecycle. We strive to run a portfolio that is balanced across sectors, geographies, and factors.
The Endeavour strategy is a concentrated portfolio of long and short global equities that we believe can generate excess returns by ascending (or descending) the “lifecycle of investing”. This framework provides the foundation from which we interpret a company’s stock price movements. We seek to outperform through a myriad of market cycles by investing across geographies and remaining nimble to react to changes.
