Rob MacNaughton

Robert MacNaughton is a Portfolio Manager and Head of US Credit at Aperture Investors, with over 23 years of experience in credit investing. Before joining Aperture in November 2023, Rob was the Head of US Leveraged Finance Trading at UBS from 2017 to 2022, where he led trading strategies, risk management, and team development in the distressed debt market. Prior to that, he served as Managing Director and Head of Public Distressed Debt at Credit Suisse for more than 16 years, focusing on distressed and leveraged finance, and overseeing valuations, trading, and risk management. Rob began his career as an analyst at Lehman Brothers, specializing in distressed debt and valuation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
