Max Goldvag

Associate Director, Data & Analytics

Max Goldvag is an Associate Director at Aperture. He most recently served as an Investment Engineer at Bridgewater Associates, where he developed equity factor risk models and led data infrastructure and modeling projects supporting multi-billion-dollar strategies. Prior to this, he was a Principal at Sharpen Capital, leading private equity, structured credit, and special situations investments in the U.S.. Earlier in his career, Max held corporate finance roles at Deutsche Bank’s Americas M&A Group and Isen & Company, gaining deep experience in deal sourcing, valuation, corporate strategy, and investment execution. His technical expertise includes Python, Scala, SQL, portfolio analytics, statistical modeling, and big data systems. Max holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil and completed graduate-level coursework in statistics, data science, and machine learning through Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s MicroMasters program.
