Peter Marber is the Portfolio Manager, CIO of New World Opportunities and Emerging Debt Opportunities Strategies and Head of Emerging Markets. For more than 30 years, he has invested in emerging markets for some of the world’s largest investors including pension plans, central banks, and insurers while at HSBC, Loomis Sayles, and UBS. He has managed multiple strategies with large teams, and many of his track records can be found online and in databases. Peter Marber and his team have extensive experience analysing how countries develop economically and how their markets evolve in response, thereby formulating a deep understanding of the sector.

Peter Marber is a noted authority on global investing and has taught emerging markets finance at NYU, Johns Hopkins, Harvard, and Columbia universities. He has also published extensively on global topics and is a board member of EMTA, the trade association for Emerging Markets. He earned his B.A. at Johns Hopkins, Master’s degrees from Columbia and Oxford, and his Ph.D from the University of Cambridge.
