Michael Cooke

Michael Cooke is a Trader at Aperture. Prior to moving over to the Trading team at Aperture in 2024, he specialized in emerging markets fixed income. Prior to joining Aperture, Michael spent 15 years as a trader at Caxton Associates, where he traded fixed income, FX, commodities, and equities for an emerging markets-focused portfolio. Before that, he was the head trader for the Feirstein Hirota Japan Fund, and prior to joining the buy-side, he traded futures and FX at Daiwa Securities and Credit Lyonnais Rouse. Michael earned his B.A. in History from Pomona College.
