Prior to joining Aperture, Shomit worked at Searchlight Capital Partners and DW Partners where he invested across high yield, distressed, and special situation equities. He began his career with the Credit Investments team at CPP Investments, where he was an early member of the team following its formation.
Shomit received an HBA (with distinction) from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
